Coming across a VW Bus will always bring up fond memories of when I was young. My whole life up until around 7 or 8, my dad and I rode around in a 79′ VW Bug, and it was the coolest thing ever.
We were on our way out from a nice little classic car show we stumbled upon.
We had just walked the length of the show, up and down the blocks, had some snacks and drinks from the vendors.
As we made our way to our car we walked right by this VW Bus in the parking lot and It was too cool not to shoot.
Not sure why it wasn’t in the show itself honestly.
It’s blue stood out so well on the hot sunny day and even the cars around it were so bland in comparison.
I don’t think I’d ever own a VW, just from the mechanical problems I know my dad had to deal with growing up with it
and going to a auto shop always has the, “wait 3-4 weeks” for a part to get shipped in.
But I enjoy finding gems like these that lets me know people are still out and about with them.
