I’m not sure if this is a thing on all TLRs or just Yashica TLRs, but sometimes depending on where I start or stop my film loading indicated by the arrow I can have a half frame at the beginning or end of my roll.
But also sometimes I have the exact amount of frames on a 120 spool as I should. So I keep this in mind whenever I start shooting a new roll.
I try to tell myself, “this photo might not come out, don’t waste a good shot on it.”
Well this is for sure one of my favorite shots on the roll and it was the first shot on the roll and it came out cut in half, which is why it’s not square.
Even in black and white the sun going down adds so much to the quality of light as it hits subjects.

Such a lovely “everyday” shot! I find the light on the garbage bins so captivating and love the even exposure, contrast and clarity you captured here.

I didn’t really think about it being an everyday shot, but I totally see this being a similar sight other people might see on a daily basis too. Thanks for commenting!
