This Photo taken on Kodak Gold 400 holds a couple meanings for me. This is the main intersection most people congregate at Pismo beach and it reminds me of all the memories my wife and I have made over the years spending the weekends at Pismo beach.
Another meaning this photo holds for me is when I learned to be patient when taking photos.
I remember taking this photo and sitting there looking through the view finder for a solid minute straight, just waiting for the right look.
When this motorcycle drove by, that was when I decided to take it.
And I think waiting for the right moment helped make the image better than it would have been.
I like the foreground light post as well, I think it helps place the viewer in the same spot I was when I took it. Makes it easier to relate to as most people have been at a crosswalk.
I shoot film at Pismo beach all the time, you can see more shots around Pismo Beach here.
