Catching a Fire on Kodak Gold 400
When available Kodak Gold 400 was always in my carry around camera. This is one of the reasons to always have your camera on you one way or another. We were just driving around to run errands and saw this not far from our house, so we started to follow the smoke to see what was going on.
I really enjoy shooting on Kodak Gold 400, when I could still get it regularly, it was my standard generic go-to film to carry around.
I know I always talk about it, but one of the biggest things I love about film is it’s dynamic range.
Being able to capture both the sun and the deep shadows in the smoke, is one of my biggest draws in film.
