Who doesn’t love a good photo of a cat shot on Ilford XP2 Super 400 film?!
This is our cat Koko, what you see here is basically what she does all day every day.
Sometimes if she sits long enough I can quickly grab a camera without her running away to snap a shot.
Compound that x2 fold trying to do that on a Yashica C TLR camera.
The creaks and noises this thing makes is enough to tip anyone off that a photo is coming. But luckily I got the shot.
I had to shoot this at f3.5 and as I have mentioned before in other posts, It is so insanely hard to get critical focus at 3.5.
I love how the blacks came out in this, they feel rich and deep, but not too dark if that makes sense.

Beautiful image! Great work on the focusing and I also love the tone/rendering of the blacks here. Nice!!
