This was the first camera I have picked up from a thrift store and this was a great find. I recognized the yellow box and was very surprised to find everything inside it, even the original develop paper envelope to mail the film in.

With the day discount I got the camera for about $8.

This camera only takes 620 film but after reading online I found that you can fit 120mm film into it if you shave or file the sides of the spool down.

Sure enough that worked out and I was able to shoot a couple rolls through it. This was also my first time shooting medium format 120mm so I was super excited to see how these came out.

It takes a bit to get used to looking through the camera, everything is flipped horizontally.

Once you get used to that its tons of fun just being able to point and shoot something. The lens is about an f11 and the shutter is around 1/60, so once you put your specific ISO film in you just point and shoot.

I feel it helps me focus more on making a good composition.

Here are some of my favorite photos from the two rolls I shot, and there are a couple of these that are my all time favorite photos I have taken.

All from a little box camera from a thrift store.
